Mollie Mitchell founded The K12 Search Group in 2007. Through her work at The Broad Center, Mollie became passionate about the need for a more equitable public education system. More importantly, she recognized that fledgling charter schools and nonprofit organizations would require outstanding talent to scale and increase their impact. Mollie felt that her knowledge of the education reform sector and her years of experience as an executive recruiter made her uniquely qualified to start The K12 Search Group.

Since creating The K12 Search Group, Mollie has worked with dozens of charter school operators, funders, and other education reform nonprofits nationwide to help them recruit executive talent into their organizations.
