Kelley Jamison founded Kestrel Bay after a successful 25-year career in three large executive search firms, focusing exclusively on private equity, distressed, and alternatives firms. In addition to founding Heidrick & Struggles’ global Private Equity Practice, Kelley has served as a relationship manager for many large-cap, mid-cap, and middle market firms, and has personally conducted over 300 Board of Director & CEO searches and 150+ CFO searches.
In addition to fielding top industry and functional teams for retained searches on behalf of her private capital clients and their portfolio companies, Kelley’s personal Board and C-suite work spans private equity and public companies ranging in size from $100 million to $50 billion in revenue and is industry agnostic, covering industrial, automotive, distribution, chemicals/process industries, renewables, technology, media, business services, financial services, real estate, hospitality, tech-enabled services, marketplaces, healthcare/medtech/med devices, and consumer/retail.
Kelley has also conducted countless searches for private markets firms themselves (as distinct from PE-backed portfolio companies), including for Board of Director, President/COO, CFO, Portfolio Operations, Senior Advisor, Operating Partner, and senior investment professional positions.
