As part of a retained executive search model, The K12 Search Group provides a full-service approach to finding the best candidate for the position. Our rigorous search process includes the following services. These services are covered by the standard search agreement and do not involve any additional fees.

  • Job analysis and development of a position specification
  • Development of a search strategy to identify the appropriate candidates including a list of target organizations and positions and an analysis of potential advertising vehicles for the position
  • Analysis of organizational culture and hiring team personalities to better understand what type of candidate will be most successful
  • Cold calls to target list of prospects
  • Candidate screening including resume review, telephone interview, and face-to-face meeting either in person or via videoconference
  • Scheduling candidate interviews and any related travel
  • Debriefing candidate and hiring team
  • Thorough referencing of finalist candidate
  • Offer negotiation and counter offer advisement
